Okay everyone! This book is absolutely amazing and Khaled Hosseini is becoming one of my favorite authors! The book is written slightly differently than Hosseini's well known book The Kite Runner, but is still AMAZING!

This book is about the stories of two Afghan women, how each of them were raised (completely different) and how even though there are years apart in their age, their lives eventually intertwine with each other. Strangers, enemies, and finally family. 

Even though I was reading this book at a very busy time in my life, it was always on my mind. I was trying to find as much time as I could, which unfortunately wasn't much, to read this amazing book. I absolutely LOVE reading about cultures that are different than mine. I always try to imagine if I were in the situation that the character was in and what I would do. In this case one thing that stood out to me and I have always been curious about is arranged marriage. It definitely confirmed some of my fears, but also brought some light into it and how it isn't always bad. Sorry, I don't want to give too much away!

GIRL LAST SEEN NINA LAURIN While dealing with her own struggles from her past, now another young girl goes missing. Something about this girl stands out. All the memories that were pushed down for so long all come raging back like a hurricane. This book was bought for me as a gift. Reading the back, it sounded VERY interesting. Then I started reading it and at first I thought, oh man this book is not going to get a good review from me. But trust me, you just have to make it to the end of chapter three (they are small chapters don’t worry) then this book intensifies! There are so many twists and turns, I really did not expect! THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN GARTH STEIN I have never thought that I would like a book that is written from an animals perspective. Not that I don't like animals, I do. I actually love animals. My husband and I have an eight year old Labrador Retriever, who is our baby.
